| LG G2 may Feature 5.2-inch Display, Zippy ’800′ CPU & Back Buttons [Image Leaked] Posted: 07 Aug 2013 02:30 PM PDT In some time we will be witnessing the release of LG G2 Smartphone but prior to that we already have the image released as a press photo of the device. As in most cases, we have @evleaks on Twitter again responsible for putting the image forth, as expected the volume rocker shows adorning the back cover of LG G2.
Guessing further from the image leaked, the case for LG G2 seems to be carved out of plastic thus suggesting a removable battery integrated in the device. Some information extracted from a number of rumors circulating the web regarding LG G2 suggest the device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset with Adreno 330 GPU and equally powerful quad-core 2.2 GHz Krait 400 GPU. The screen will most probably be 5.2-inches including the latest IPS Plus LCD technology with a High Definition display screen. Earlier many have speculated the LG device to be the first one to debut a 3GB RAM but it turns out LG G2 will also be housing the usual 2GB RAM. The device has the same camera as the company integrated in its Optimus G Pro phablet unveiled at Mobile World Congress 2013. According to reports, LG G2 will run the Android 4.2.2 Operating System out of the box and will come with the exclusive LG user interface. The hardware of this LG Smartphone has stirred some tech bloggers and analysts as it is expected to foretell some hardware features of the upcoming next-Gen Nexus 5. Popular belief suggests Google and LG are likely to announce the Nexus 5 coming October makes this Smartphone as the first ever to support Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie from the beginning. | Mozilla Releases Firefox 26 Aurora for Linux, Windows & Mac [Test Version] Posted: 07 Aug 2013 02:20 PM PDT Mozilla has been engaged in developing a release in its Firefox 26.x section and the company has finally launched its first Alpha for the said branch which can be accessed, downloaded and tested by the developers now. Most of us know the Mozilla Firefox 26.x popularly as Aurora which is the name assigned to this branch and it is said to incorporate all the improvement and additional options to be included in the browsing service.
There is no detail as to the primary test results for this release but we should know soon as the developers get busy with the released Alpha 1. The company launched this Alpha version right after the release of its stable build for 23.x branch. More details on new features can be obtained from the download site of this release. Some of the features include mixed content blocking for a more secured experience across HTTP pages, a revamped Firefox logo, ARIA function for keys ensuring more touch friendly pages to be written and an enhanced functional UI for memory. Note: This Mozilla Firefox 26.0 Alpha 1 version is intended only for developers to download and test run. It should not be downloaded on daily machines meant for routine work as discrepancies might arise in developer's release. | Expected Date for iOS 7 Beta 6 Release, before GM version [Rumors] Posted: 07 Aug 2013 11:12 AM PDT Now that iOS 7 Beta 5 is out sooner than most of were expecting it, talks about Beta 6 have started to circulate around the web. Apparently, Apple has defied all views that thought things would be delayed from the company following the hacking event but nothing has stopped software releases from being on time. We have yet neither detailed information on the features included in iOS 7 Beta 5 nor do we know about the bug fixes yet but there is no major change expected from this 150MB download.
If the dates rumored are correct, then we should be expecting the final version of iOS 7 sometime around next month, most probably the same date as previous year's iOS a 6 release on September 19. Another theory suggests a week's delay in the final release which would bring it close to Apple's latest iPhone 5S launch which might be out the coming fall. What does iOS 7 Beta 6 has in store? We can hardly tell regarding the enhancements and features to be offered in iOS 7 Beta 6 as we have not fully tested the recently released Beta 6. The improvements in the current version are yet to be fully understood which will take some time. There isn't any concrete evidence suggesting another Beta release but most analysts have the view Apple might just push out one more Beta prior to the GM version and then the much awaited public release will surface. The new Moto X might cross your mind when you see the back cover design format. The overall strategy of the Korean company is to achieve a thin LG G2 device hence the position of the volume rocker. Also, as the image shows, the bezel has been kept to a minimum with an almost edge-to-edge display screen. One benefit is the size of the device can be kept controlled by varying the size of the bezel, in the end a larger display is achieved.
Mozilla Firefox has been designed as a small and efficient program intended to be a cross-platform service. The Linux version of has been launched and users can simply download it as they do not need to install anything for Mozilla Firefox 26.0 Alpha 1.
It is almost impossible to speculate the release date for iOS 7 Beta 6 now as we had earlier guessed it to be August 26, two weeks following the earliest expected date of Beta 5 but that would be too near the GM release of iOS 7. One assumption is an August 19 Beta 6 launch followed by a GM version exactly two weeks later.
