| iPhone 5s on iOS 7 may Include Slow Motion Camera Feature [Rumors] Posted: 01 Aug 2013 04:12 PM PDT Several rumors regarding the next Apple release are circulating the web. Some claim Apple intends to release two iPhone devices simultaneously while others argue the company might release a 'family' of new Apple devices. All these speculations remain mere assumptions till company releases its next device.
Apart from the more far-fetched rumors, the leaks on Apple device hardware lean towards two-iPhone speculation more. These two iPhones are expected to be iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S coming out this fall most probable but the question remains, how do these two iPhones differ from each other in appearance and specifications? According to one rumor, the iPhone 5C is the Apple's take on a low-cost iPhone since this device is expected to come in a polycarbonate plastic shell keeping the costs controlled but the device remains to be an iPhone 5 nonetheless. As per Foxconn, it is highly inconvenient to manufacture these in metal thus plastic shells are more cost effective. As much as we know Apple, the company is going to leave an impression after all with another iPhone 5S device up its sleeve. This one is to be manufactured in metal no matter how hard the process is. On top of that, iPhone 5S is expected to house a brand new powerful processor and will be available in a variety of colors. Also, the device has an upgraded camera whereas the screen is maintained to its earlier iPhone 5 size. The news has been released by financial analysts who looked up the suppliers for Apple devices' parts. Apple does not intend to impress its fans by the usual color options, camera enhancements and the much talked about fingerprint sensor. In fact, the company has more to offer in iPhone 5S, the new slo-mo code included in iOS 7 Beta that will allow iPhone 5S only to record at a 120 FPS rate. When the recording is replayed at a normal speed, you will have the slow motion video playing. Apple fans have something to really look forward now. | Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 mini to support dual-mode LTE Posted: 01 Aug 2013 01:48 PM PDT Samsung announced a dual-mode LTE Samsung Galaxy S4 mini and Galaxy S4 device. The company is said to be the first in launching devices having the ability to shift between LTE modes- both TDD-LTE and FDD-LTE.
Obviously the technology has been incorporated in devices before like the ZTE Grand Era but to be able to select a specific LTE mode, the users had to reboot their phone first. This extra step has been deemed unnecessary by the South Korean giant with the LTE specific technology being integrated in Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 Mini we should witness the release of these variants soon. Samsung has further explained there will be no interference with the ongoing activity of the users on the device when it shifts from one network to the other. This implements that the data sessions and ongoing voice calls will automatically be shifted without disturbing the user, sounds convenient. This is indeed a major breakthrough especially for Galaxy S4 users who have a rigorous travelling routine. Their Samsung S4 devices will automatically shift over to the network that offers the most bandwidth thus ensuring high speed connection without having to restart their Smartphone to switch over a network.

| iOS 7 to Fix the Threat to iPhone when Connected to Third Party Charger Posted: 01 Aug 2013 01:05 PM PDT Georgia Tech raised an issue being encountered by iOS that allows hackers to break into the device's security as soon as the iPhone is connected to a charger. When the device is unlocked using the said charger, it enabled a hidden computer to attack the iOS and install malware on the device. The issue was, however, taken by Apple immediately when three computer scientists demonstrated the threat to the company last year.
Apple has not yet explained the nature of the solution integrated in the iOS update however Billy Lau from Georgia Tech has established it is possible to indicate whether the iPhone has been connected to a charger or a computer – this should give the hacking attempt away. Still, many iPhone users are concerned as depending upon iOS 7 for the security fix means waiting till fall for the release. On the other hand, since the nature of the threat is based more on hardware thus it should not create much tension among the users of the iPhone device. Same is the case with Sony Xepria Honami as a number of recently leaked images indicated a 20 megapixel sensor integrated in the device. Earlier the device was rumored as a comeback of the CyberShot brand in the phone arena but since no such branding has been found on the device, it seems Sony Xperia Honami will house a G Lens instead.
Apple has claimed to fix the issue once and for all in the new
