So, here are two very effective and handy ways to disable lock screen in Windows 8.1 with a few mouse clicks only. So let’s start with the first method that involves a third party tool. Use a Third Party Software to Disable Lock Screen in Windows 8.1 You can use a third party application that is known as "DisableLockScreen.zip". It is an amazing tool that works faster for enabling and disabling Lock Screen. Step 1: To begin, download this software. Step 2: Open its .zip folder where you will find two files. You need to select "DisableLockScreen.reg" file. Step 3: Now "Registry Editor" screen will appear before you. You need to show your consent that you want to continue the process by clicking "Yes". That’s all. Once you click on it, you will see an option NoLockScreen in the right pane. Click on it. Step 8: A new window will appear on your screen by the name "Edit DWORD (32-bit) Value" where you need to select "1" for the Lock Screen Value and press "OK". That’s it. Network and Battery Life The non removable Moto X battery, however smaller than the S4, is claimed to provide better battery life (24 hours of uptime) with effective power management as a marketing claim as yet. The new users do not need to bother about the language if he is not in the favor of using English Language as the default language. He can set his native language to use the system properly. As the user selects and installs his desired language pack, everything in the system will be translated into his selected language. Even he will get the translated version of help and menu contents. Below you will find a step-by-step guide on how you can set your native language as default language in the system running on Windows 8.1. Steps to Change Default Language of Windows 8.1 Step 1: Right click on the "Start" button. You will see Start Menu appears before you. In the list, you need to click on the "Control Panel" option. Step 2: Now the Control Panel menu will be opened before you in a window. You will see a category "Clock, Language and Region" in it. Click on "Add a Language" under this category.
