| App Crashing Issue to be Fixed on iOS 7 Beta 6, iPhone 5 and 4S [Rumors] Posted: 10 Aug 2013 01:58 PM PDT The developers for Apple software have been reporting app crashing issues with iPhone 5, 4s and 4 models. Prior to the iOS 7 beta 5 release from Apple, it was believed the apps needed to be updated to alleviate the issues but such is not the case as Beta 5 not only enhanced app functionality but also resolved all issues in some apps. The company is expected to release more fixes in the next iOS 7 Beta 6.
iOS 7 Beta 4, the one preceding the current beta, resolved iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 issues of crashing to a plain black screen showing the Apple logo. The fixing had to be done to the Apple software itself instead of the apps running on the device. Also, there were some issues pointed out with few apps crashing like Skype and Instagram that required their developers or an iOS 7 update to look into the matter. Another repeatedly reported issue lies with the WI-Fi leaving iPhone users unable to use a wireless network thus resorting to cellular service. On the contrary, not all apps will be fixed at company level as some require developer's attention. If the solutions coming from the developers do not sync with the release of the finalized version of iOS 7, then we might have some app crashing issues even after the public release of Apple's latest update. There is still another Beta release expected for iOS 7 before the GM release is out. Time will tell how many fixes are successfully done prior to the final release expected next month. | Samsung vs Apple again following a Sales Ban by ITC Posted: 10 Aug 2013 12:42 PM PDT It seems Samsung and Apple is face-to-face yet again over a legal issue allegedly raised by Apple over patent issues with the former yet again. According to latest reports, Samsung has been legally stopped to sell some of its earlier mobile phones in the U.S. by ITC, as some of their features overstep Apple's patent features. One issue deals with the touchscreen equipment installed in Samsung devices and the other is regarding jacks for headphones. As per yesterday's ruling by the International Trade Commission, both Continuum (SCH-1400) and Transform (SPH-M920) from Samsung are involved in part or full copyright infringement of Apple's patent for headset. What is more interesting is, there is no major reason as to why Apple had to point this out as Samsung had already stopped production of both. Thus, apart from giving Apple another point in the 'War of Patents', a ban on their import has no effect on Samsung whatsoever. Samsung has not taken this issue lightly rather the company is determined to ensure Samsung devices' available to the general public in the U.S. On all accounts. The decision by ITC has closely followed the event where Apple attained a lift on its banned products from the White House, another legal win by the company. It is still to be seen what strategy Samsung plans to adopt in the face of the ruling but things don't seem to get settled soon. Step 2: Now Metro Start Screen will be in front of you. At the bottom of the screen on the left side, you will see a down arrow symbol. You need to click it to go to the 
Step 3: In apps section, you can find "Windows Defender" at the end of the list by swiping to the right side as it has been shown in the image below. Click on its icon to launch it.
Step 4: Now the menu of Windows Defender will be opened before you where you need to click "Custom" and select the option "Scan Now".
Step 5: Another Windows appear on the screen where you will see all of the System drives. Click on the C drive to open its folders. Select all of your required folders you want Windows Defender to scan. Then select the folders from D drive and E drive as well. Once you have made selections of your required folders or files, you need to click the option "OK" at the bottom of the screen.
The system will start scanning your selected folders and files as it has been shown in the image below.
