SimCity: Available to Download for Mac OS X

In the start of this year, the first beta version of SimCity was released and before some time EA had verified the statement that SimCity was going to be rolled out for the Mac OS X by the end of the current month, i.e. August 2013. So, according to the announcement, SimCity has appeared in the Mac App Store for the Mac users around the world. It is very exciting news for the Mac users to get SimCity . When it was released for the PC users, it went down very badly and the publisher was not expecting any bad situation. This time publisher is expecting to have a good time because of SimCity for Mac version.

SimCity for Mac UsersThe users who have downloaded a copy of SimCity through Steam by using SteamPlay surely would be able to run SimCity not only on a Mac OS X, but also on a PC. So, if you often use Mac and seldom you use PC, you would be glad to grab it through Steam from the App Store for Mac. The publisher released the PC version in March and a few games that were added to its PC version faced some problems. So, the users were in a chaotic situation while using the PC version. Consequently, the developer refunded the cost to various customers.

Skype Confirmed, it is Building up 3D Video Calls Technology

The Skype team has verified the rumors that it has built up the technology to originate the 3D video calls on Skype that would enable the team to send and receive the body images to work in the coming future.

SkypeThe corporate vice-president of Skype, Mark Gillett made an announcement that the Skype teams had worked hard with the tools of state-of-art to get 3D footage. He kept saying in an interview to the BBC, "We are getting continuous progress in this task and a large number of customers now purchase the monitor screens and TVs that could send a 3D image. The users will be very excited to know that the Skype team experimented it in their lab and they made it working with a hard work of day and night.

According to Gillet, the Skype team is observing the devices’ ecosystem to work in a better way and evaluating the capacities of these devices for supporting it. On the basis of all these things, they will take a decision whether they should bring this amazing technology to the market sooner or later.

In April 2013, Skype published an ad that it was planning to build up a technology that will help them producing body-doubles for the workers who were not able to attend the important meetings and workshops. Although, the technology has been developed for the service in Skye, but within a few years, it will be used publicly in offices and homes.

Skype will announce this technology on the event of it 10th birthday. Microsoft took over Skype in 2011 in $8.5 billion and at the end of 2010, the estimated registered users at Skype were 660 million.
