| Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9006 Surfaces, possibly LTE-A Version Posted: 15 Aug 2013 02:07 PM PDT Galaxy Note III is all set to be rolled out and not just one but three types of the same model will be available in the market with specific countries getting a specific type of the Note III. These three variants are listed under the names of SM-N900 with a 3G network support, SM-N9005 being the LTE version, and SM-N9002 listed as a device for China customers. Interesting news surfaced, however, with an image of a yet another variant of Galaxy Note III bearing the name of SM-N9006 powering a software N9006ZCUAMG3 version. The EXIF information obtained from the image suggests a 4128 x 2322 pixels resolution which makes about 10 MP.
As mentioned, the LTE models will come out housing the same Snapdragon 800 processor thus there is no point in two different models being released with the same functioning chipset. One model type could have sufficed for the need. There is a possibility the EXIF on the image uploaded lacks originality, whatever the case may be we will soon find out. | How to Activate NFC (Near Field Communication) on HTC One Posted: 15 Aug 2013 10:47 AM PDT NFC is a modern way of communication and stands for Near Field Communication. Being one of the most popular features in 2013, NFC can be found in all of the advanced Smartphones coming this year. HTC One is also one of the advanced Smartphones that comes with built-in NFC. It helps you in sharing your pictures, important web pages, instant information and contacts details to another cell phone that also contains NFC. This service can also be used if you want to make contactless payments. For this purpose you can contact the mobile operator to get information regarding the availability of this option. If it does not possess NFC, you can’t share anything even after activating NFC on your HTC One.
Steps to Enable NFC in HTC One
If you do not want to use Near Field Communication option, you can disable it by following the same process that has been discussed above. | CM 10.2 Nightlies Releases for Android 4.3, stable Versions soon to be Launched Posted: 14 Aug 2013 05:11 PM PDT CyanogenMod is back in business or we should say back with another root as the famous hacking team has already released CM 10.2 Nightlies apparently to root Android 4.3. The team is known to release hacks sooner than most expect at this time too, Android 4.3 is too fresh a release to have a CM version.
If you can't make up your mind regarding CM 10.2 instead, you can always benefit from a stable version of CM 10.1 that is tested and reported functioning smoothly as a routine driver on many Smartphones. Users who are looking forward to CM 10.2 will be given guides to proceed soon as it is tested on a number of Smartphones. Now that CM 10.2 Nightlies is out, we should be expecting more stable releases from CyanogenMod team for CM 10.2 until then it would be worth it to wait. CyanogenMod has been utilized by many users who own Smartphones making up the ones that very hardly receive official Android updates as soon as these updates are released. Thus, such users refer to CM to run their devices on these Android upgrades. While fragmentation issues are being resolved actively, updates are still being received at a rate much slower than needed. Though the latest Android version 4.3 has been released still 6.5% of Android devices are still running on the earlier Android 4.2 version. | Apple Revamps iCloud Beta Version to Share iOS 7 Look Posted: 14 Aug 2013 04:56 PM PDT Apple has brought about major design and user-based transformations in the upcoming iOS 7 for iDevices and the company is extending the alterations to its apps in order to keep them linked to the new Operating System both design-wise and function-wise. As for now, the beta release of iCloud up coming from Apple has also undergone similar interface changes.
The services that have undergone these changes include find my iPhone, Reminders, Notes, Time Zone Selector, the App Switcher, Emails and Contacts giving all these apps a flatter look that does, to the least, add to the neatness of the interface. While a lot of familiar services are less familiar now, there are some that have remained unaffected including iWork apps from Apple as their beta versions for test-runs have been created following the existing design templates. The revamped iCloud final version is most probably to line up following iOS 7 release expected next month but we might witness the release sooner as Apple has not issued any comment so far. A number of screenshots from the running beta version gives an insight to the look users should look forward to in the final release. Lucky users who are enjoying Android 4.3 and wish to add a custom ROM can download CM 10.2 from their website. Before you proceed, know that a 'Nightlies' version coming from CyanogenMod means the stage is too early and probably has a lot of issues, thus you should refrain from using it on a daily device.
The known iCloud website 'beta.iCloud.com' is now updated to look similar to the iOS 7 interface, an update scheduled for the coming month as most expect. The website hosts a number of Apple iOS apps' Web versions that are now available for users to have a look at.
