Google Releasing iOS 7 Edition Chrome 30

Posted: 19 Sep 2013 04:09 PM PDT

Google released Chrome 29 hardly a week ago; to be precise it was released only 6 days ago. According to feedback and reports, the speed was considered quite disagreeable and people claimed that it is only for iOS 6. Now, it is releasing the iOS 7 edition chrome 30. The updated version has been readied for downloading at the App store. Before we reach any decisions, let us discuss the possibilities provided by chrome 30.

Chrome 30The new iOS 7's smooth and attractive design is quite eye- catching and its benefits can be reaped even by iPad. The novelty delivered by the new design, is a source of curiosity to customers, which urged them to try everything that look even remotely different. If a customer is using an iPhone or iPad, he does not have to concern himself about multiple Google apps anymore. By one log in, he has direct easy access to YouTube, Gmail, Google maps and applications.

The voice search has also been deemed to be a lot better. Numerous questions can be asked at once even questions can be connected together with the help of pronouns, example; what is a laptop? What does it look like? And the voice search will be able to answer properly!

Finally, the most intriguing part of the new chrome is that, Google will answer our questions with the help of applications rather than simply giving browser links. For example, you want to find the location of a university. Google will provide with Google maps, outlining all the directions – Whereas, previous links were delivered to support our inquiries.

Microsoft Allows Windows 8.1 Installation on a Clean Computer Only

Posted: 19 Sep 2013 02:50 PM PDT

This October 18th, Microsoft has announced that it is not only providing the benefit of updating your systems to windows 8.1, it is also giving the chance to use windows 8.1 without having to update the previous version of the software.

Windows 8.1Last October, windows 8 were released by Redmond as only an upgrading product. The "system Builder Editions" of Windows 8 which are available through online retail stores can be installed directly on a clean hard drive. But it is to be mentioned that all the versions downloaded or purchased through retail store can only be used to upgrade the previous version. To overcome this, Microsoft has stated through a blog post that it will lax this policy as soon as Windows 8.1 is "entirely" available. That is, anybody without any previous versions can install Window 8.1 then.

“This shift allows more flexibility for customers in specific technical scenarios and is in response to feedback we’ve received,” Microsoft marketing bigwig Brandon LeBlanc wrote.

The retail pack will allow an upgradation on Windows 7 also, but all the applications will be automatically deleted leaving only personal file behind. Anyone who wants to save all their data, should either install the windows with a clean drive, or install Windows 8 before moving onto windows 8.1. It has also been informed that upgrades for Vista and Windows XP are not obtainable anymore.

The retail Window 8.1 pack will be charged at $119.99, same as the Window 8 pack. Whereas, the Pro Window 8.1 pack will be priced at $ 199.9. This pack can be used to upgrade an original windows 8.1 computer to Pro windows 8.1, and its cause including the media center will be only $99.9. While a separate windows media center will be available at $9.99.

Through TechNet and MSDN, Microsoft has provided the Release to Manufacturing (RTM) builds of Windows 8.1 and Window 8.1Pro, and on Tuesday, it also added Windows Enterprise to the list. This builds are available for testing for Volume Licensing Customers and though the current users can buy them through Volume Licensing Service center, the new population will have to wait till November 1 to buy from Volume Licensing Resellers.
