Posted: 17 Sep 2013 04:32 PM PDT

The OS X 10.9 Maverick has an expected date of release scheduled in the upcoming month of October. Although all the media attention has been snatched by the OS 7, the company has not so easily forgotten its Mac software. The company has made supplementary moves to eliminate all the bugs and rectify any remaining errors or problems. It has also added an OS X maverick developer Preview 8 along with an updated version of iTunes 11.1.

OS X MAVERICK 10.9The software that concentrates on the improvement of the fundamental functions of the system can be updated by any developer through the usual updating process. That is, any developer who is currently in the process of testing a previous preview version of the software.

The enhanced version of OS maverick will not be as dramatic as iOS 7 but it will be enough to make the update a very pleasant change from the old style. The software was expected to be released along the other iPhone products on Tuesday, but the unveiling date of the system has been pushed to the end of October.

The whole new generation of this system along with the enhancements being thrown our way by Apple, make this software quite appealing. It includes highly anticipated dual – screen monitor, a better tabbed Finder application, improved maps and much much better power saving features. The drastic effect on the battery life would be witnessed by the customers with the announcement of Intel Haswell powered MacBook pro.

As the time for its release approaches, the new OS X maverick has started to create a thrill amongst its users. Anyone who is willing to test the system, can go the App store, while others willing to wait for the complete version, shall have to wait until the end of October.

Nexus 5 Android 4.4 Kitkat Supported, Reveals in a Bar

Posted: 17 Sep 2013 03:22 PM PDT

A prototype of Nexus 5 by a Google employee was left charging in a bar. Some low quality shots and videos were taken on the phone, but they were enough to validate all the speculation regarding the arrival of Nexus 5.

Rumors about the device has been circling since Google cut down the prices of Nexus 4 by $100. The phones were purchased at such an avaricious speed, that the supply of the phones has been exhausted now, leaving no inventory behind. And from our previous experiences we have gathered the fact, that whenever a company starts clearing its inventory, there is bound to be the entrance of a much more improved device.

Nexus 5According to speculation, Nexus 5 will be based on the G2 specs that have recently announced but without the rear/home button. It has also been confirmed that the device will be again built by LG.

The nexus is reported to be the first phone to support Android 4.4 Kitkat, something about which we are still in awe. The phone will have a 4.96-inch display (1080p) which is better than Nexus 4s 4.7-inch screen, but smaller than G2's 5.2-inch display. It will have a Snapdragon 800 processor, 2300mAH battery, 2 GB of RAM and G2's 13 megapixels rear camera with optical image stabilization.

However, the point of contention amongst all bloggers and the eagerly waiting consumers of Lexus is whether the price will be like the Nexus 4? Will they be able to get their hungry clutches on the new device just like they got a hold of Nexus 4?

Well, we will just have to wait and watch.

6-Inch Nokia Lumia 1520′s Expected Release in October

Posted: 17 Sep 2013 02:47 PM PDT

Nokia passed a statement suggesting its' consumers should anticipate a newer version of the Lumia Smartphone. The device that was planned to be released in this September at a New York event was unable to meet its scheduled date due to Microsoft's acquisition of Nokia's handset business.

Nokia Lumia 1520Nokia has just released its 41 mega-pixels Lumia 1020 Smartphone in July. The device had a 4 and a half-inch display and a 1,280-by-768-pixel Gorilla Glass 3 AMOLED screen. Which leads to the big question - What should be expected now?

All suggestions about innovation and novelty indicate a 6 inch Lumia 1520. We have been advised to save the date of October 22, for surely something remarkable is about to come. In the past, Nokia has utilized its conversation blogs to deliver live streaming of the events – let's hope we get some action in this October too!

The Finnish handset maker tweeted, "At Nokia we never stop innovating. More to share on October 22." The tweet was accompanied by a snapshot of people on sand dunes, while the picture had a caption of, '#stories, #blazing, #innovationreinvented'.

If this is the case, it has about time Nokia used its innovative skills to produce better devices. For its last Smartphone of a 4.5 inch display is quite small as compared to Samsung 5.7-inch Galaxy Note 3 and 6.3-inch Galaxy Mega to Sony’s 6.4-inch Xperia Z Ultra.

We keep our fingers crossed and hope Nokia can inspire us once again in this era of phablets!
