Wincom & i0n1c Jailbroken iOS 7.1.1 Posted: 18 May 2014 01:03 PM PDT In the early days of this month, we gave you a pleasant news when pod2g claimed that he is continuously on work for jailbreak 7.1 and 7.1.1. Still we brought you a wonderful news that wincom and ion1c have performed this task and they have successfully jailbroken iOS 7.1.1. This is what the users were expecting for the whole month. As the users know that both of them are renowned in the world of hacking. Both of these hackers have published the jailbreak news individually. The photo is showing iOS 7.1.1 on iPhone 5c that is jailbroken by him. A five minute's video has been published by wincom to show the demo of iPhone 4 jailbreak on iOS 7.1.1. Here is what i0n1c tweets for the users, "I just leave this here". The tweet can be seen here. According to i0n1c, he did not use any traditional or long chain based process to jailbreak the iOS 7.1.1. Instead of it, he is also relying on the same chain of bugs that was used by evasi0n7 earlier. The users will be so happy to know that the iOS 7.1.1 can be jailbroken too and the hackers know very well that the public is anxiously waiting for the release of the current jailbreak. Wincom showed his interest in joining Apple very soon while i0n1c does not seem to be happy with jailbreaking community. It is again to beware the users that still the jailbreak for iOS 7.1.1 is not available for the common users and it will be available very soon. Apple’s Investigation Trial for Freemium iOS Apps in Italy Posted: 17 May 2014 12:58 PM PDT Italian Antitrust and Competition Authority has started investigating Apple regarding the misleading freemium iOS apps. These apps mislead the users by showing that there are no charges to pay for them and these are absolutely free of cost. Google and Amazon are also under investigation. The authorities are investigating whether these three mega companies of the U.S offer a lot of apps on their online stores for the public to download these apps. Now problem is that the users are misled because they consider them free apps and they download them and later, they come to know that these apps are not free. According to the resources, a French game developer, Gameloft is also doing the same by using the freemium apps and authorities are blaming him for a lion's share in the EU games' online market. Basically, the freemium games and apps are getting immensely popular among the public all around the world and are considered one of the best sources of monetization for app and game developers. Freemium apps are free of cost and when you download these apps, you do not need to pay any fees for it, but when you download its add-ons or the additional levels of games, you have to pay a specific amount for it. This is what the three renowned app stores are being investigated currently. The US regulators frequently asked from Apple and other two companies to explain to the users that this free app contains some in-app purchase, but it is not followed by these companies. So, if these three top kings of app stores are proved to be guilty, they will be fined up to $6.8 million each of them.
