Micromax made a successful entry in the Smartphones market after the launch of Micromax canvas 4 with a price tag of Rs 17,990. It has launched many more android phones giving competition to the existing big brands in the market that too at low prices when compared to others though having the similar features. So it seems like Micromax is considering the every needs of the user and are providing the users with the variety of options. Based on the fact that its price is low and have many amazing features, it has become the first choice for many of the buyers. So taking a one more step forward its now going to launch a new Android handset "MICROMAX CANVAS 5".

Display

It is for the first time that Micromax is launching a crystal designed handset. As a saying that "first impression is the last impression", it stands pretty right for this handset as its going to impress the user at the very first look. It has a strong crystal lining which differentiates it from all other handsets released so far by the Micromax. The rumor also claims that it may even come with aluminium frame on the sides. It has a black color panel giving a deadly look which everyone would like to have when they carry their phone.

Screen

It comes with a 5 inches of LCD display with 1080 pixel full HD revolution. It has a sensitive touch rather we can say a feather touch screen which is desired by everyone now-a-days.

Camera

This handset is provided with two cameras, one called front camera and the other normally called as rear camera. The front camera is of 13 mega pixels with dual LED flash where the rear one comes with 5MP which is better than any other handset which provides rear camera with most of 2-3MP.

Storage

This comes with an inbuilt memory of 16GB and it can be further extended up to 64GB via SD card.

Connectivity

The amazing feature of it is that it even supports NFC ( Near Field Communication), WI-fi lite style tech ( means your wallet, papers and pocket all have gone digital and will be on your phone), it also supports WI-fi hotspots, Bluetooth, GPRS , 2G network and many more.

Operating System & Battery

As the competition is going on increasing, there is up-gradation of  the version of  androids in phones now and then, therefore keeping it into consideration this handset is provided with 4.3 android jelly bean with a 2 GB RAM. According to the rumors, this handset might be provided by the Meditek Octa Core processor. It has Li-Ion battery with 3000 mAh.

Price

As already mentioned above that Micromax always keeps the price factor in mind as per the convenience of the users, even this time it's not going to disappoint you. As it will be available in the range of 21,000 to 24,000 INR or $370.
